Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in various carpentry techniques and be proficient in working with different materials. This role involves constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. The Carpenter will work on a variety of projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Construct, install, and repair structures such as frameworks, walls, and roofs.
- Execute construction painting tasks to finish surfaces as required.
- Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square according to project requirements.
- Apply caulking to seal joints and gaps for improved durability and aesthetics.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on electrical installations as needed.




- Restore existing structures through repair or renovation techniques.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Experience

- Proven experience as a Carpenter
- Experience with window, door, and siding installation is preferred
- Experience with interior finish, such as flooring installation, door installation and millwork is preferred
- Knowledge of electrical systems is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Experience in restoration projects is preferred.
