Duties

- Assist dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including restorative, orthodontic, pediatric, and surgical cases
- Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials, ensuring sterilization standards are met
- Manage patient records using Tracker dental software , documenting procedures accurately and efficiently
- Take digital radiographs (X-rays), and iTero scanning as well as traditional impressions occasionally




- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health
- Support front desk operations by acting as a dental receptionist, scheduling appointments, confirming patient information, and managing inquiries.
- Assist with orthodontic procedures and adjustments
- Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment while adhering to all safety and infection control protocols

Skills

- Proven experience with dental assisting procedures and patient care in a busy clinical setting
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Knowledge of infection control standards and sterilization procedures to ensure a safe environment for everyone
