Responsibilities

Assist the dental team during various procedures by preparing instruments and materials efficiently.

Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, and addressing questions with clarity.

Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology to support accurate diagnoses.

Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Dentrix and Epic, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

Support front desk operations by managing appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out, and handling dental receptionist duties seamlessly.





Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure all dental tools are properly sanitized and organized for daily use.

Assist with orthodontic procedures and pediatric dentistry treatments as needed, demonstrating versatility across specialties.

Requirements

Current certification as a Dental Assistant with valid licensure or registration in accordance with state or regional regulations.

Proficiency in dental assisting techniques, including taking X-rays and working with dental CAD systems.

Experience with dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Epic is highly desirable.

Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry to facilitate effective communication within the team.

Familiarity with orthodontics procedures and pediatric dentistry is a plus but not mandatory.

Solid organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance.

Excellent communication skills to provide compassionate patient support and collaborate effectively with the dental team.
