About the Role

We are hiring detail-oriented and client-focused professionals to support the administration of provincial childcare programs and services.

In this role, you will review applications, determine eligibility, assist families and childcare providers, resolve program-related issues, and provide guidance on online portals and application processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and process program applications, renewals, amendments, and supporting documentation.
- Assess applicant eligibility in accordance with established policies, procedures, and program guidelines.
- Review financial records and other documents to make accurate eligibility decisions.
- Respond to phone, email, and online inquiries from parents, guardians, childcare providers, and other stakeholders.
- Help clients understand program requirements and navigate online services.
- Investigate and resolve application, payment, eligibility, documentation, and system-related issues.
- Maintain accurate case notes, records, and supporting documentation.
- Protect confidential information and comply with privacy, security, and information-management requirements.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
- Participate in operational initiatives, system testing, training, and process-improvement activities.

Required Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED.
- At least three years of experience in customer service, retail sales, client support, perks administration, program administration, case management, or a related area.
- At least two years of experience researching documentation and determining appropriate resolutions.




- At least three years of experience working in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
- Experience prioritizing multiple competing tasks in a complex work environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, legislation, and program guidelines.
- Experience handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to provide professional, respectful, and empathetic client service.

Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant post-secondary education in office administration, business administration, social services, public administration, or a related field.
- Experience working with government programs, subsidies, social benefits, eligibility assessments, or financial-assistance programs.
- At least two years of call-centre or high-volume contact-centre experience.
- At least three years of experience navigating multiple applications, databases, or computer systems while assisting clients.
- Previous experience in a program-assessment, benefits-processing, case-management, or similar role.
- Experience supporting clients through complex or sensitive situations.

Pay: $15.70-$26.46 per hour
