Empower children at YMCA as a Child Minding Instructor. Provide essential care and support for kids ages 2 months to 12 years while parents engage in programming. In this engaging role, you will supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
As a key team member, you'll build respectful relationships with children and their families, addressing any concerns with strong communication skills. Your flexibility is required as you may work days, evenings, and weekends to provide quality programming experiences. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage children during YMCA programs
- Build positive relationships with families and children
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and documentation
- Maintain a safe and clean child-minding setting
- Respond to emergency situations effectively Requirements:
- Minimum 16 years of age
- Previous experience working with children
- Intermediate First Aid & CPR-C certification
- Able to obtain a Police Information Check
