Role : Cloud SQL DBA / Data Platform Support Engineer

Location : Remote - Canada

Hire type : Contract

We are looking for a resource with 6+ years of total experience in SQL DBA Operations, Cloud Support, Automation and implement AI agent/bot in DBA operations

Primary Skills (Must Have):

- SQL Server DBA Operations, Production Support & On-Call Support
- SQL Development, Query Performance Tuning & Troubleshooting
- Python and/or PowerShell Automation
- Azure Cloud Support (AWS/GCP exposure is a plus)
- Monitoring tools such as Grafana, App Insights, or equivalent

Secondary Skills (Valuable to Have):

- AI/ML exposure, including Azure AI Services, OpenAI, Claude, or AI agents
- Basic understanding of MLOps and AI application deployment

Key Responsibility: Support and automate database and cloud platform operations, ensure system reliability, monitor production workloads, troubleshoot incidents, and contribute to automation initiatives across the data platform.
