Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and products
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning to ensure a spotless environment
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure facilities are well-equipped at all times
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report issues promptly
- Support basic facilities maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or repairing minor fixtures to uphold operational standards
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or contamination
- Use environmentally friendly cleaning products whenever possible to promote sustainability within the workplace
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform tasks efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures related to facilities maintenance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to established schedules
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills for reporting issues or coordinating with team members effectively
