About the Role

As a Service Plumber with Cedar Mechanical, you’ll work across commercial, multi family, and residential sites throughout Calgary. You’ll handle everything from emergency service calls to full system installations, representing our brand with professionalism and care.

What You’ll Do

⁠ ⁠Complete service calls, repairs, and maintenance for commercial buildings, residential homes, and multi family properties.

⁠ ⁠Install plumbing systems including water heaters, tankless units, water softeners, and related equipment.

⁠ ⁠Diagnose and resolve issues such as leaks, pressure problems, furnaces, boilers, and system blockages.

⁠ ⁠Perform advanced troubleshooting and system diagnostics.

⁠ ⁠Interpret and apply plumbing, gas, and building codes.

⁠ ⁠Mentor junior apprentices and support their development.

⁠ ⁠Maintain vehicle inventory, tools, and supplies.

⁠ ⁠Use mobile apps to complete work orders, time tracking, and digital documentation.

⁠ ⁠Keep accurate records of work performed, parts used, and customer approvals.

⁠ ⁠Troubleshoot boilers and tankless heating systems.

What You Bring

⁠ ⁠3rd or 4th Year Apprentice, or Journeyman Plumber.





⁠ ⁠Strong commercial or residential plumbing experience.

⁠ ⁠Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

⁠ ⁠Ability to plan and execute complex boiler and mechanical installations.

⁠ ⁠Strong communication and customer service skills.

⁠ ⁠Ability to work independently and follow company procedures.

⁠ ⁠Clean Driver’s Abstract and Criminal Record Check.

⁠ ⁠Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.

⁠ ⁠Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and work related apps.

⁠ ⁠Live in Calgary or within 50 km.

Compensation

Pay: $30.00–$50.00 per hour based on experience and performance
