Tea & Toast is looking for a relationship-driven, highly motivated, bilingual Community Liaison to help grow our presence across Ottawa and surrounding communities while building meaningful relationships with the professionals and organizations supporting older adults and their families.

This is not a traditional sales role.

It is a community-facing business development position for someone who loves meeting people, building relationships, spotting opportunities, and turning connections into long-term referral partnerships.

Tea & Toast supports families navigating senior living and eldercare decisions. As we continue to grow, we are looking for someone whose primary focus is ensuring more professionals, organizations, and families know who we are, what we do, and when to call us.

What You’ll Do

You will be responsible for building and strengthening Tea & Toast’s professional referral network throughout Ottawa and the surrounding area.

This includes

- Developing relationships with social workers, healthcare professionals, retirement-home teams, realtors, community organizations, and other professionals supporting older adults.
- Identifying and pursuing new referral sources and strategic partnerships.
- Maintaining strong relationships with existing community and skilled partners.
- Travelling regularly throughout Ottawa and surrounding communities to attend meetings, visit referral partners and represent Tea & Toast.
- Representing Tea & Toast at networking events, trade shows and community events.
- Identifying, securing and delivering speaking engagements, workshops, webinars, online discussions and educational presentations on behalf of Tea & Toast.
- Conducting proactive outreach and consistent follow-up with potential referral partners.
- Helping turn professional relationships into qualified referrals and new business.




- Tracking relationships, outreach, follow-up and opportunities within company systems.
- Working closely with the management and client services teams to ensure opportunities are followed through effectively.
- Helping expand Tea & Toast’s visibility and reach as the company continues to grow.

Who We’re Looking For You are someone who naturally builds relationships.

You’re comfortable walking into a room where you don’t know anyone, introducing yourself and starting conversations. You’re equally comfortable following up afterward and turning that first conversation into an ongoing professional relationship.

You are

- Fluent in both English and French, with solid verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- Comfortable delivering presentations, workshops, and webinars in both English and French.
- Willing and able to travel regularly throughout Ottawa and the surrounding area.
- In possession of a valid driver’s licence and reliable access to a vehicle.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
- Warm, professional and confident representing a company in the community.
- Organized and consistent with follow-up.
- Comfortable with business development, networking and relationship-based sales.
- Able to identify opportunities rather than waiting for them to come to you.
- Strong in both communication and emotional intelligence.




- Accountable for your results and comfortable working toward measurable business-development goals.
- Comfortable using CRM, scheduling, and other company systems to document your work.
- Genuinely interested in supporting older adults and their families.

Experience in senior living, healthcare, community relations, professional services, sales, or business development would be an asset, but relationship-building ability and initiative matter most. The role will also include quarterly performance bonuses tied to measurable business-development results and revenue-generating outcomes.

Specific performance targets and bonus opportunities will be established based on the company’s business development priorities and may include areas such as qualified referrals, new referral relationships, strategic partnerships, and other activities that directly contribute to business growth.
