Join Strive Living Society as a Community Support Worker in Lower Mainland, BC. Help adults with challenging behaviors gain independence through tailored support and community integration. In this part-time role, you will be part of the Supported Independent Living (SIL) program.
Ideal candidates will have a background in mental health and experience working with multidisciplinary teams. This position involves supporting individuals in their homes and local communities while fostering an active, engaging lifestyle. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to clients in their homes
- Assist with skill development and community integration
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholders
- Self-start and develop recent models as needed
- Participate in team meetings and feedback sessions Requirements:
- At least one year of relevant experience
- Clean Class 5 BC Driver’s License
- Positive Behaviour Management Training
- Criminal Record Clearance and references
