We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Compressor Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting industrial compressors and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Your expertise will help keep our operations running smoothly, supporting both customer satisfaction and safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on various types of compressors, including centrifugal and reciprocating models.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Be available for a rotating on-call schedule as well as OT.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely to disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery.
- Work well independently as well as with a team.
- Follow all Sigma Compressor and on-site customer safety and disposal regulations.




- Collaborate with sales teams to provide technical support for compressor sales or upgrades.
- Assist with customer service by explaining repairs or maintenance procedures clearly to clients and ensuring their needs are met promptly.

Qualifications

- Proven mechanic experience with industrial machinery repair is highly desirable.
- Working at heights, skyjack and forklift certificates preferred, but not required initially, training will be provided.
- Be able to lift ~60lbs., work in hot, cold and dusty environments.
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and safety procedures related to heavy lifting and equipment handling.
- Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

You will be required to provide Green Triangle safety boots, basic hand tools and a strong work ethic. We will provide you with a company truck, cell phone, tablet and any specialty tools required. Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
