We are looking for a hands-on Construction Surveyor to manage layouts for our mid-rise / high-rise condo and low-rise (townhouse/detached) projects in Toronto. The candidate must be comfortable working on active sites and managing all stages of surveying.

Responsibilities:

- Performs all field layouts, including lot partitioning, gridlines, benchmarks, and stakeouts.
- Monitors structural components, verticality, and core wall alignments as the building progresses.
- Provides interior and facade layout controls for post-structural and finishing phases.
- Executes layout for underground utilities, site services, and final grading/drainage elevations.
- Reviews and updates all drawings to ensure dimensions between architectural, structural, and civil sets agree.
- Calculates quantities and provides topographic surveys for planning and payment purposes.
- Maintains detailed and accurate field records and as-built data.
- Works closely with the Project Manager, Superintendent and Supervisors.
- Performs all other site duties and works extended hours as required.

Qualifications:

- Diploma or degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of field experience in residential construction (Condo and Subdivision).




- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and civil drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors on active construction sites daily.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Valid Driver’s License and own vehicle.
- Ability to speak/read/write Mandarin.
