Title: Core Java Developer – Capital Markets & Trading

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 8/11/17) .
- Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, Collections, JVM internals, and Multithreading/Concurrency .
- Hands-on experience developing Electronic Trading (E-Trading) or Trading Platform applications.
- Strong experience working in Capital Markets , including Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives, or similar financial products.
- Experience designing and developing low-latency, high-throughput distributed systems.
- Robust understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles.




- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and enterprise application development.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
- Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
