CSA Visual Welding Inspector (Level 1 or Level 2) – MT2 & UT2

Location: Edmonton, Alberta (Travel Required)

Aegis Inspection Ltd. is seeking a motivated and professional CSA Visual Welding Inspector (Level 1 or Level 2) with CGSB MT Level 2 and UT Level 2 certifications to join our growing inspection team.

This position involves structural steel inspections throughout the Edmonton area and surrounding regions. Occasional travel is required.

Minimum Qualifications

· CSA W178.2 Visual Welding Inspector – Level 1 or Level 2

· CGSB Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) Level 2

· CGSB Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Level 2

· Valid Class 5 Driver's License

· Reliable vehicle

· Legally authorized to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience performing structural steel inspections

· Strong knowledge of CSA W59 and CSA S16 requirements

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to work independently and manage inspection schedules

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Responsibilities





· Perform visual welding inspections in accordance with CSA standards

· Conduct Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT)

· Prepare clear and accurate inspection reports

· Communicate inspection findings with clients and project personnel

· Maintain inspection equipment and documentation

· Represent Aegis Inspection Ltd. professionally on client sites
