Overview

We are looking for a skilled Curry Chef to craft delicious, traditional curries and other Indian-Pakistani dishes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents, contribute to a lively kitchen setting, and delight our customers with exceptional food. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Duties

- Prepare and cook authentic Indian-Pakistani curries and related dishes with precision and flair
- Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients efficiently
- Ensure all food handling practices adhere to safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Serve dishes promptly and courteously to customers in the restaurant or during take-out orders
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and workstations




- Follow recipes accurately while adding creative touches to enhance flavor profiles
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages

Requirements

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a chef within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of Indian-Pakistani cuisine, especially curry preparation techniques
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is highly preferred
- Multilingual communication skills in English, French, and preferably Hindi are advantageous
