We are a busy, privately owned small animal veterinary clinic looking for a friendly, organized, and compassionate Client Service Representative to join our team.
As the first point of contact for our clients, you play a vital role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for both pets and their families. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with animal and people, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and is passionate about providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism.
- Answer phone and respond to emails.
- Schedule appointments and manage daily appointments.
- Check patients in and out, process payments, and maintain accurate medical records.
- Communicate clearly with veterinarians and technical staff to ensure efficient patient care.
- Assist clients with prescription refills, food orders, and general inquiries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Support the team with various administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience is required.
- Veterinary reception experience is an asset but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Completion of the veterinary assistant program is an asset but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient with computers and able to learn veterinary practice software.
