DataStage ETL Developer – IBM InfoSphere & SQL Location: Toronto, ON

Work Model: Hybrid (4 Days WFO)

Role Description • Design and implement ETL data pipelines.

- Solid PL/SQL and SQL skills in relational database environments.
- Strong Unix shell scripting skills.
- Create and review technical design documents.
- Participate in walkthrough reviews of technical specifications, code, and unit test plans.
- Plan design and implementation activities and provide third-level production support.
- Drive technical platform improvements and ensure solution quality.
- Estimate effort for design, coding, and unit testing activities.
- Ensure ETL pipelines meet quality standards and metadata is complete and accurate.




- Work closely with development teams to promote best practices.
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Iterative.
- Working knowledge of GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.

Must Have • 8+ years of experience in complex and time-sensitive development environments.

- Extensive hands-on experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage (ETL).
- Extensive hands-on experience with complex SQL (MSSQL Server, Teradata).
- Extensive experience creating stored procedures and Unix shell scripts.
- Experience supporting large-scale testing, UAT, simulations, and reporting.

Nice to Have • Working knowledge of Kafka.

- Working knowledge of JCL/Zeke.
