What's In It For You The Deployment & Operations Leader is accountable for the end-to-end delivery, operational performance, and customer success of Trane Technologies' portfolio of digital energy optimization solutions.

This role is pivotal in realizing our leadership in delivering tangible efficiency, resiliency and sustainability outcomes for our customers. This leader will direct a global team of over 100 professionals responsible for the seamless deployment and operation of our digital energy optimization offerings deployed through BrainBox AI as well as through Trane's extensive commercial HVAC and energy services businesses. The team's scope encompasses the full customer lifecycle, from initial onboarding and technical integration to continuous, AI-driven performance optimization, value quantification, and ongoing customer success - ensuring clients achieve the results that drive subscription renewal and expansion.

Reporting directly to the Trane Technologies Chief Digital Officer, this leader will build and guide a high-performance, AI-empowered organization. This mission-critical role sits at the center of our strategy to deliver measurable, verified energy and carbon savings across commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings worldwide. They must thrive in complex, matrixed enterprise environments and bring the energy, discipline, and influence required to scale operations in these dynamic markets.

What You Will

DoCustomer Onboarding & Deployment Lead the seamless onboarding of new enterprise customers and building portfolios onto the Trane platform, ensuring rapid time-to-value. Oversee technical deployment across AWS and Google Cloud environments, coordinating with cloud partners and internal engineering teams. Develop and continuously improve scalable onboarding methodologies, playbooks, and tooling to support a growing world-wide customer base.

Building Performance Optimization





Direct ongoing AI-driven optimization of customer buildings, ensuring the platform continuously delivers measurable improvements in energy efficiency, HVAC performance, and occupant comfort. Establish and enforce rigorous performance monitoring frameworks, escalation protocols, and SLA standards across the customer portfolio. Champion a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging data and AI to drive operational excellence and innovation in service delivery.

Value

Quantification & Customer Success Lead the design and execution of value verification programs that clearly demonstrate energy savings, carbon reductions, and financial ROI to customers. Apply advanced financial acumen and data analytics to quantify and communicate impact in terms that resonate with both executive stakeholders and facility managers. Own customer health metrics, net revenue retention, and expansion targets; partner with Sales and Account Management to ensure customers renew and grow their subscriptions.

Serve as an executive escalation point for strategic customer relationships in Digital, building trust and confidence at all levels of the client organization. Manage a large portfolio of concurrent deployment and success projects with rigor, pace, and a bias for action. Own and drive our Internship (ADP) program in Canada with a focus on BrainBox AI’s special needs.

Financial & Operational Management Own the operational financials including budgeting, resource allocation, and cost optimization while maintaining service quality. Define, track, and report on operational KPIs and financial metrics to the CDO and senior leadership, providing clear visibility into performance and risk. Leverage data analytics capabilities to identify trends, forecast capacity needs, and inform strategic decisions. 15 or more years of progressive leadership experience in software and/or AI solution delivery, including direct responsibility for customer onboarding, service operations, and customer success at scale. ~ Demonstrated success leading operations at a high-tech software company such as Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services (AWS), SAP, Oracle or Workday.



~ Deep hands-on experience working with both Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS in an operational context - understanding platform capabilities, support structures, and partnership models. ~ Experience in enterprise software environments (SAP, Oracle, or similar) with proven ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales and delivery motions. ~ Strong financial acumen: demonstrated ability to manage operational budgets, build business cases, and present ROI and value metrics credibly to C-suite audiences. ~ Advanced data analytics skills, with experience using data to drive operational decisions, verify solution value, and communicate insights to diverse audiences. ~ Proven track record executing large, complex portfolios of simultaneous projects on time and within budget - with a documented bias for action and execution discipline. ~ Outstanding communication skills in both American English (written and spoken); and Canadian French (spoken); ability to engage and influence audiences from building technicians to board-level executives. ~ S. regulatory environments relevant to employment, commerce, energy management, building operations, and data handling.

Background in building technology, HVAC, energy management, or sustainability sectors.

Experience with IoT or AI/ML platforms deployed in industrial or commercial real estate environments at companies like Cisco or HP. S. and Canadian markets, including bilingual stakeholder engagement. MBA or advanced degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science or a related discipline. Candidates need to be Canadian residents legally permitted to work in Canada and travel throughout the US.

Annual Base Salary Range Or Hourly

Base Pay Range $214,636.66 - $273,100.00 The actual compensation will depend on elements such as seniority, merit, geographic location, education, experience, travel requirements, and union designation. Our compensation range is generally based on the national average for the country. Additionally, benefits may vary depending on the region, business alignment, union involvement, and employee status.
