Assistant Apparel Designer

Location: Vancouver, BC (Onsite – Minimum 4 Days/Week)

Pay Rate: **$29.00/hour

Vacant Position** Job Summary We are seeking an Assistant Apparel Designer to support a collaborative design team in creating innovative, functional, and trend-driven apparel. This role will assist with design execution, technical updates, fittings, trend research, and sample management while contributing to the development of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

- Create style mock-ups, update technical sketches, and prepare color deliverables.
- Attend fittings, document feedback, and update styles accordingly.
- Maintain an organized design space, sample library, and digital files.
- Conduct trend research across fashion, culture, and consumer insights to inform design direction.
- Support the design team throughout the product development process.




- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure timely and accurate project execution.

Qualifications

- 2+ years of apparel or fashion design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design (BA, BFA, BS, or equivalent).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Creative thinker with attention to detail and a passion for apparel design.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.

Compensation

- $29.00 per hour
