About the Opportunity

We are seeking a designated CPA to join our team as Director of Finance. This is a rare opportunity to join an entrepreneurial company that has enjoyed tremendous growth, with expectations that growth will continue, and to play a lead role in building the financial infrastructure to support it.

Reporting directly to the Owner, you will oversee the accounting team and take ownership of enhancing accounting procedures and internal controls, financial reporting and business analysis to adequately support current business volumes and position the company for further growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Upgrade and provide ongoing oversight of accounting procedures and internal controls
- Supervise the accounting team across financial statement preparation, bank reporting, cost accounting, and business analysis
- Coordinate tax filings and year-end processes with external accountants
- Work closely with Operations Management and the Cost Accountant to produce timely and accurate job costing and profitability analysis
- Liaise with bankers and other external parties as needed to support the business




- Take on new duties and responsibilities as they arise with company growth

What We're Looking For
- Designated CPA
- Prior experience in a public accounting firm, with a subsequent transition into industry
- Previous experience as a Senior Controller or Director of Finance
- Comfort managing and developing a strong accounting team
- Strong flexibility and adaptability, as this role will evolve as the business grows
- An entrepreneurial mindset and genuine enjoyment of being part of a quick-growing team

Pay: $160,000.00-$180,000.00 per year
