We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Supervisor (ECE Level 3) to join our team in providing high-quality educational experiences for young children. This role involves overseeing classroom activities, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with educational standards while promoting the development of each child.

Duties

- Supervise daily classroom operations, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that meets the developmental needs of children.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff through effective communication.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with staff to create individualized education plans for children with disabilities.
- Maintain accurate records of children's activities, attendance, and developmental milestones.
- Organize training sessions for staff on best practices in early childhood education.
- Utilize computer operation skills to manage classroom documentation and reporting effectively.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and organizational policies regarding health and safety standards.

Experience





- Proven experience in early childhood education or a related field is essential.
- Strong time management skills to effectively balance multiple responsibilities within the classroom setting.
- Demonstrated ability to educate and communicate effectively with diverse groups of children.
- Robust organizational skills to manage classroom resources efficiently.

Education/Experience/Certifications

- Early Childhood Development Level 3 or equivalent
- Current Childcare First Aid & CPR
- Current Police Clearance with Vulnerable Sector
- Minimum 2 year experience in day care/out of school environment

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Experience:
- childcare: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
- ECE Level 3 (required)
- criminal background check with vulnerability sector (required)
- First Aid Certification (required)
