Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Drywall Estimator to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately assessing project requirements, preparing comprehensive bids, and collaborating with clients and subcontractors to ensure competitive and precise pricing. Your expertise will help drive successful project outcomes by delivering reliable estimates that align with project scope, budget, and schedule.

Duties

- Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints using tools like Bluebeam to develop precise drywall estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate pricing.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for drywall installation, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
- Utilize HeavyBid or similar estimating software to compile and manage bid proposals efficiently.
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best value without compromising quality.




- Analyze project scope changes and update estimates accordingly to reflect current requirements.
- Assist in bid presentations and support the bidding process from initial proposal through award.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in construction estimating with a focus on drywall or interior finishing projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu for plan review and markup.
- Familiarity with HeavyBid or comparable estimating software is highly desirable.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and present estimates clearly.
