We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused DZ Driver to join our transportation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and pickup of goods while ensuring compliance with Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate has excellent driving skills, a robust work ethic, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate DZ-class commercial vehicles to transport goods to customer locations.

- Perform daily pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.

- Load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely.

- Plan delivery routes and ensure timely deliveries and pickups.

- Complete delivery documentation, logbooks, and inspection reports accurately.

- Ensure compliance with MTO regulations, commercial vehicle safety standards, and company policies.

- Report vehicle defects, accidents, or delays promptly.

- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle.

- Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries.

- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.

- Assist with warehouse or loading duties when required.





Qualifications

- Valid Ontario DZ Driver's Licence with a clean driving abstract.

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

- Minimum 1–2 years of commercial driving experience is an asset.

- Clean CVOR and driver's abstract.

- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug/alcohol screening (if required).

Required Skills

- Excellent knowledge of Ontario road safety regulations and commercial driving practices.

- Safe vehicle operation and defensive driving skills.

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and perform physical loading/unloading tasks.

- Strong communication and customer service skills.

- Good time management and route planning abilities.

- Ability to complete required transportation documentation accurately.

- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Working Conditions

- Local and regional travel.

- Early morning, evening, weekend, or overtime shifts as required.

- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

- Frequent lifting, bending, and loading/unloading of materials.
