Early Childhood Educator -Assistant

HOURS: Full Time

WAGE: $24.00 to 26.00/hr + Perks after 3 months

DETAILS:

The Ucluelet and Area Childcare Society (UACCS) is a Registered Charity and Not-For-Profit Society dedicated to providing high quality, affordable, inclusive childcare to families in the Ucluelet area. We are currently seeking a qualified ECE-A to join our growing team of dedicated professionals.

DUTIES:

· Provide a safe and educational environment for young children

· Ensure adherence to licensing regulations at all times

· Provide excellent supervision and interaction with children

· Assist in planning and implementation of age appropriate programming

· Establish and maintain an orderly and clean environment

· Maintain accurate records

· Collaborate with parents and caregivers to ensure the best possible outcomes for children

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Current BC Early Childhood Educator-Assistant License to practice

· Current Children's First Aid certificate

· Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check

· Two current reference letters





· Experience working with children in a childcare setting

· Excellent organization and communication skills

· Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
