Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator (ECE) or Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA) to join our vibrant team. Duties

- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that support early childhood development and learning goals
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration
- Support children with daily routines, including meal times, naps, hygiene, and transitions
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a cohesive approach to care and education
- Assist in maintaining classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety standards
- Use computer skills to document observations, update records, and communicate with families as needed
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop individualized plans for children with special needs or disabilities




- Support bilingual communication efforts by utilizing language skills in English and French when applicable

Qualifications

- Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings or related environments
- Knowledge of childcare practices, early childhood education principles, and child development stages
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special educational needs is highly desirable
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is preferred to support diverse community needs
- Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—to effectively engage with children, families, and team members
- Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities and documentation efficiently
- Computer operation skills for record-keeping, communication, and educational activities
- Demonstrated time management abilities to balance multiple responsibilities throughout the day
- Leadership qualities that foster teamwork and positive guidance for children
