Experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician (Temporary – 2–3 Weeks)

Location: Lower Mainland, BC

Duration: 2–3 weeks (Full-Time)

Pay: Competitive, based on experience

We’re looking for an experienced electrical maintenance technician to assist with commercial lighting maintenance for a short-term project.

This is an independent role. You’ll be working alone on scissor lifts and ladders replacing lamps, ballasts, LED drivers, and troubleshooting commercial lighting systems. We’re looking for someone who can show up, work safely, and get the job done with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

- Replace fluorescent, HID, and LED lamps
- Replace ballasts and LED drivers
- Troubleshoot lighting failures
- Work safely from scissor lifts and ladders
- Complete work efficiently while maintaining a clean, professional job site
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards

Requirements

- Electrical experience required: Journeyman
- Comfortable working independently
- Experience operating scissor lifts




- Comfortable working at heights
- Valid driver’s licence with reliable transportation
- Robust troubleshooting skills
- Positive attitude and dependable work ethic

You’ll be working independently most of the day, so we’re looking for someone who can troubleshoot, make decisions, and stay productive without constant supervision

Preferred

- Fall protection certification
- Scissor lift certification
- Experience in retail maintenance and retrofit lighting
