Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrician / Electronics Technician to join our maintenance team. This dual-skilled role is essential to ensuring the reliable operation of our blown film extrusion lines and supporting equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in industrial electrical systems, automation, and electronics within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, extrusion machinery, and auxiliary equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues on blown film extrusion lines
- Maintain, calibrate, and repair control systems, sensors, PLCs, and automation equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, wiring schematics, and electrical drawings




- Ensure compliance with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and all company health and safety policies
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues efficiently

Qualifications & Skills
- Licensed Electrician in Ontario (442A or 309A) – Required
- Proven industrial experience as an Electronics Technician
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, automation systems, sensors, and industrial controls
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Experience in plastics manufacturing or blown film extrusion is considered a strong asset

Work Schedule
- Full-time
- Overtime available as required
