Engineering Manager – Full-Stack Development

Location: Remote

Working Hours: Must provide strong overlap with U.S. Eastern Time

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Reporting To: Head of Engineering

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- 9+ years of software-engineering experience, including at least 2 years in an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role.
- Experience managing remote or geographically distributed development teams.
- Strong technical experience in at least two of the following technologies, with the ability to oversee solutions across the others:

– C# and .NET

– Java and related frameworks

– Ruby and Ruby on Rails

- Strong experience with AWS services and cloud-native application architecture.
- Experience designing and delivering full-stack web applications, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, data modelling,



performance optimization, and system integration.
- Experience with Git-based development, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Working knowledge of containers, Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and application observability.
- Strong understanding of software security, scalability, availability, and performance.
- Demonstrated success delivering enterprise software within defined timelines and quality expectations.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder-management, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work remotely with consistent availability during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
- Valuable to have: Experience enabling AI within an organization or team, with a trailblazer mindset and an AI-first approach to problem-solving.
