Duties

- Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, backhoes, and skidsteers to prepare sites, move materials, and execute project plans efficiently.
- Assist with landscape installation tasks including grading, soil preparation, and site cleanup to ensure precise and professional results.
- Maintain mechanical knowledge of equipment to perform routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs for optimal performance.
- Support construction activities by handling horizontal drilling operations and other specialized tasks as needed.
- Drive commercial vehicles safely to transport equipment, materials, or personnel between job sites while adhering to all safety regulations.




- Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations and site activities.
- Keep detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and project progress to support operational efficiency.

Skills

- Proven experience operating heavy machinery including skidsteer, loaders, excavators, and tandem trucks.
- Robust mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on heavy equipment.
- Skilled in loader operation and backhoe handling for various construction tasks.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent for safe transportation of equipment and materials.
- Experience with installation and landscaping projects.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment safety standards and best practices in construction environments.
