ETL QA Test Analyst Location:

- Toronto, ON
- Hybrid – 2 days per week in Toronto office (preferred)

Role & Responsibilities: • Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.

- Prepare test plans, strategies, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
- Prepare data for testing.
- Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
- Develop testing programs addressing database impacts, software scenarios, and usability.
- Document software defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software developers.
- Identify, analyze, and document problems with program functionality, output, online screens, or content.
- Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
- Create and maintain databases of known test defects.
- Plan test schedules and strategies in accordance with project scope and delivery dates.

Must Have Skills: • QA Test Analyst experience.

- 8+ years of overall experience.
- ETL testing experience.




- 5+ years of hands-on ETL testing experience.
- Database/Backend testing experience, including writing and validating medium to high complexity SQL queries.
- Experience writing Unix commands through shell scripting.
- In-depth knowledge and working experience with:
- Netezza
- SQL
- HBase
- Kafka
- Hive
- Experience working on Agile projects.
- Experience with:
- MS SSIS
- SSRS
- AWS Redshift
- Experience with HP ALM.
- Strong prioritization skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Solid multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage independent and distinct challenges.

Nice to Have Skills: • Exposure to Cloud/AWS.

- Exposure to visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Knowledge of REST APIs.
