Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Metal and Shingle Roofing Installer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing high-quality metal and shingle roofing systems on residential properties. Your expertise will help ensure durable, weather-resistant roofs that meet safety standards and client specifications.

We're currently turning down work because we don't have enough experienced installers.

We're looking for 2-3 skilled installers who take pride in their work and want to be part of a crew that has each other's backs.

Hourly wage will be determined based on candidate's qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities:

- Install exposed fastener metal roofing panels and asphalt shingles.
- Inspect, repair, and maintain residential roofing systems.
- Replace damaged materials and properly seal penetrations using appropriate caulking methods.
- Assist with light carpentry and roof preparation.
- Work safely and efficiently as part of a team.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Skills

- Minimum 2 years metal roofing installation
- Minimum 2 years shingle rooking installation
- Proficiency with hand tools essential for roofing installation tasks
- Ability to read blueprints accurately for exact material placement and layout
- Strong carpentry skills for framing, trimming, and finishing work related to roofing systems




- Experience with caulking techniques for weatherproofing joints and seams
- Valid, current, Working at Heights Certificate
- Physical strength for heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and working at heights safely, outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be able to meet in Kingston early mornings, each work day (typically between 5am - 7am depending on the job and jobsite)

Preferred Skills

- Siding (vinyl, metal, composite)
- Soffit installation
- Fascia installation
- Seamless eavestrough installation
- Flat roofing (cold process / no torch)
- Class G Driver's Licence (Transportation is available for employees within Kingston city limits, and/or they may meet at one of our designated morning rendez-vous locations)
- First Aid Certification
- WHMIS Certification

- Metal Roofing installation: 2 years (preferred)
- Shingle Roofing installation: 2 years (preferred)
- working with roofing hand and power tools : 2 years (preferred)
