Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Eye Care Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional service and expertise in the optical field. As an Eye Care Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting eyewear that meets their needs, ensuring proper fitting, and providing valuable information about lenses and frames. You will also pre-screen patients before their eye exam as well as various Admin tasks.

Your role will be crucial in enhancing the overall customer experience while maintaining the highest standards of quality and care.

Responsibilities:

- Assist customers with selecting eyewear based on their prescription and lifestyle needs.
- Provide expert advice on lens options, coatings, and frame styles.
- Ensure accurate fitting of glasses and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain knowledge of current optical trends, products, and technologies.
- Input orders for eyewear and manage inventory effectively.
- Collaborate with optometrists to ensure seamless patient care.
- Utilize optical laboratory equipment to create lenses as needed.
- Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

- NO experience necessary. However, previous experience in retail sales or optical settings is preferred. Optician License is not required
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to eye care is a plus.
- Robust communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.




- Experience with retail management or sales is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Epic or similar software systems is beneficial but not required.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills are essential.
