The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Facilities Specialist to join our team at URSA.

A typical day as a Facilities Specialist may include:

· Supporting programs to troubleshoot maintenance issues and booking in vendors and internal maintenance staff to complete maintenance in a timely manner.

· Ensuring all external vendors have WCB clearance in place, performs site safety orientation and monitors projects until completion.

· Scheduling preventative maintenance for homes, facilities, and vehicles, approving work orders and ensuring work does not go over agreed upon amounts.

· Coordinating renovations, equipment upgrades and projects in our homes and facilities.

· Meeting with housing partners to ensure that leased facilities are operating to the highest standard possible.

· Supporting the administration team with troubleshooting and is the key contact for admin landlord.

What you offer:

· Have experience with facility management and customer service

· Possess relevant post-secondary education.

· Holds a Class 5 drivers license with a transparent driving record.

· Has a vehicle and can drive for work purposes.

· Have a proactive nature and self-starting ability,



coupled with talent to adapt interpersonal skills to build relationships internally and externally

· A team player with strong leadership and management skills which include superior time management and organization skills.
