Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Physician to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across all age groups, ensuring they receive timely, effective, and personalized medical attention. Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality primary healthcare services, including diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of acute and chronic illnesses
- Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing medical terminology and clinical judgment to develop effective care plans
- Administer medications responsibly, including medication management and home care instructions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner to ensure seamless patient documentation and data collection
- Provide pediatric care tailored to children’s developmental needs, including immunizations and growth monitoring
- Manage patient care in various settings such as outpatient clinics, hospital environments, or home care visits
- Participate in research initiatives or quality improvement projects to enhance clinical practices and patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure as a Family Physician or equivalent credential
- Proven hospital experience with a strong background in acute care settings
- Experience in pain management strategies and procedures
- Familiarity with medical terminology, electronic health record systems (Epic, Cerner), and medical office operations
- Prior experience in pediatrics, home care, or community health programs is highly desirable
- Skills in data collection for research or quality assurance purposes
- Ability to perform medication administration accurately and safely in various clinical contexts
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations
