Job Overview: This position will focus primarily on performing Calibration, preventative maintenance work and coordinating repairs on equipment in Ontario and Quebec. This position will require approximately 10% overnight travel. The Service Technician may also support sales and applications with demonstrations, installations and commissioning of new equipment and all other duties as assigned.
- Hours of Work: 44 hours per week
- Drive frequently across our coverage area for on-site visits, with flexible hours of work.
Qualifications & Experience
· Secondary School (required), a technical degree, diploma or certificate in electronics, computer, or electro-mechanical application would be an asset
· Understanding of computer systems and networking ( required).
· Some Knowledge of grain grading, flour milling of livestock feed manufacturing would be an asset.
· Experience working with service technicians or repair providers would be asset.
· A valuable working knowledge of mechanical devices and the ability to lift 30 Kg.
· An agricultural background and French as a second language would be an asset.
Requirements:
· Valid G Class driver's license and clean driving record.
· Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
· Availability for travel.
· Comfortable operating company vehicles
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Coordinate service calls and plan the week to visit the client in the area.
· Effective decision-making skills with minimal supervision.
· To Instruct customers about the services.
Pay: $45,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
