About The Opportunity Our nationally recognized client located in central Ottawa is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team on a temporary, contract basis.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Prepare monthly journal entries, amortization schedules, and balance sheet reconciliations for unearned and deferred revenue accounts.
- Financial reporting and production of financial statements- prepare monthly, quarterly and annual results including Income Statements, P&L;, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Management, ensure accuracy of preparation of Financials
- Submission of tax remittances
- Assisting in the coordination and preparation of budget and financial forecasts and analyze report variances; institute and maintain planning and control procedures
- Preparing Month End closings
- Assist in streamlining processes, automation, and creation of efficiencies
- Ensuring compliance as well as implementation of policies and procedures, monitoring for accurate and successful execution

About You The successful candidate will have the following:

- Active CPA, or CFE Finalist
- 4+ years of experience in Accounting & Finance




- Previous experience in the Not-for-Profit sector
- Solid oral, written, and communication skills (English essential)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills, self-starter, collaborative
