Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

:

- Support client Securities Settlement Operations within Capital Markets and Brokerage Services environments.
- Perform daily trade settlement activities, reconciliations, reporting, and operational support functions.
- Utilize advanced Excel capabilities to process, analyze, reconcile, and maintain large financial datasets.
- Handle CDS/DTC settlement activities, trade matching, trade affirmation, and exception management.
- Work closely with internal teams, external partners, and clients to ensure timely and accurate settlement processing.
- Contribute to operational excellence initiatives, process improvements, and risk mitigation activities.
- Exposure to Capital Markets, Prime Brokerage, Securities Lending, and leading securities platforms.
- Onsite 5 days per week during the first 90 days; thereafter eligible for 1 work-from-home day per week.

Responsibilities:

- Perform daily reconciliations, projections, reporting, and settlement processing activities within established SLAs.
- Investigate, reconcile, and resolve financial discrepancies, suspense items, and clearing outages.
- Provide fails reporting and settlement status updates to clients and management.
- Perform NI24-101 trade matching activities and CDS Arrow binds/netting procedures.
- Review DTC and CDS pending trade reports and communicate settlement issues to stakeholders.
- Match, affirm, and process DTC trade confirmations to facilitate successful settlements.
- Investigate and respond to client and partner inquiries in a timely manner.




- Support international trade settlement processes and monitor market settlement reports.
- Maintain process documentation and ensure procedures remain current and compliant.
- Monitor shared inboxes and maintain accurate operational records for audit purposes.
- Participate in cross-training initiatives and provide operational coverage during high-volume periods.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and operational efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, AML policies, operational procedures, and risk controls.

Experience:

- 5+ years of experience within banking, capital markets, securities operations, or financial services.
- Strong trade settlements experience with CDS and DTC platforms.
- Prior reconciliation experience involving financial discrepancies, breaks, and exception management.
- Capital markets and trading operations knowledge.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and Macros.
- Experience supporting securities settlement operations, middle-office, or back-office functions.
- Experience working with high-volume transaction processing environments.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving capabilities.




- Experience managing multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of Money Market and FX products is considered an asset.
- Exposure to securities lending, prime brokerage, or global settlement operations is preferred.
