Job Title: Front of House Supervisor Reports to: Front of House Supervisor report to the Food & Beverage Manager (FBM) or, in the FBM’s absence, Head Chef
Supervises: Servers and Bartenders, in Absence of the Kitchen Supervisor Cooks
Position Type: Part-time, seasonal.
Job Overview:
A restaurant supervisor is a key position in the restaurant that involves overseeing the daily operations and ensuring smooth functioning of the establishment. The FOH Supervisor ensures that all Front of House Staff are supported and clients receive a timely, courteous, and enjoyable dining experience, ensuring that all best practices are followed and that a consistent standard of service is maintained.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Managing and supervising the front-of-house staff, including servers, and bartenders.
- Ensures that all staff members are properly trained, motivated, and adhere to the restaurant's policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Ensuring a positive dining experience for guests.
- Interact with customers, handle complaints or concerns, and address any issues promptly and professionally.
- Monitors the service quality and takes necessary steps to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Oversees the smooth operation of the restaurant during their shift.
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery,
monitor table turnover, manage reservations, and maintain efficient seating arrangements to optimize the use of available space.
- Assist in training new staff members, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and constructive feedback to improve employee performance.
- Reconciling daily sales and preparing reports for management.
- Ensures that the restaurant adheres to all health and safety regulations.
- Enforce proper food handling and storage practices, monitor cleanliness and hygiene standards, and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Monitoring and controlling inventory levels is a critical responsibility of the restaurant supervisor. Track stock levels of dry goods, beverages, and other supplies
- Assisit in Marketing
- Set a positive example for the staff by demonstrating professionalism, strong work ethic, and excellent customer service skills.
- Foster a team-oriented and positive work environment, promote effective communication, and encourage staff morale and motivation.
- Responsible for identifying and resolving any operational issues that may impact service quality, customer satisfaction, or staff performance.
They possess problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

Job Types: Seasonal, Part-time
Contract length: 8 months
Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
