Responsibilities

- Supervise daily food preparation, cooking, serving, and food handling activities to maintain high standards of quality and safety
- Lead and motivate a team of food service staff, including interviewing, training, scheduling, and performance management
- Oversee restaurant operations to ensure smooth workflow, efficient cash handling using Micros POS systems, and adherence to food safety regulations
- Manage customer interactions by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints promptly, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and proper food presentation




- Maintain compliance with health codes and sanitation standards through regular inspections and staff training
- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to optimize operational efficiency

Experience

- Proven supervising experience in a food service or restaurant environment with strong leadership skills
- Extensive food industry knowledge including food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
- Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Micros or similar platforms for cash handling and order processing
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively in a quick-paced setting with excellent customer service skills
- Background in restaurant management or hospitality is highly desirable
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food handling procedures, and restaurant experience is essential
- Previous barista or hotel experience can be an added advantage for versatile service skills
