Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Experienced Freight Broker at Action Freightlines Corp.

The Freight

Broker will source and secure freight, negotiate rates with shippers and carriers, and coordinate FTL and cross-border shipments. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with customers and carriers, managing load boards, scheduling and dispatching trucks, and monitoring shipments to ensure on-time delivery. The role also involves resolving service issues,



maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with internal teams to support cost-effective, compliant, and customer-focused freight solutions.

Qualifications

Strong Freight Brokerage and Brokerage skills, including rate negotiation and market knowledge.

Must have their own book of business.

Proficiency in Customer Service and Account Management to develop and sustain long-term client and carrier relationships.

Experience in Dispatching, load planning, and coordinating shipments across regions.

Knowledge of North American transportation regulations and cross-border (Canada–USA) freight processes.

Ability to use logistics and transportation management systems, load boards, and basic office software.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

Previous experience in trucking, logistics, or transportation brokerage is preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in logistics, business, or a related field is an asset.
