We are seeking a passionate and energetic French Tutor / French Language Teacher to inspire learners of Grades 3–9 and skill levels. In this role, you will deliver engaging, personalized lessons that foster language acquisition and cultural understanding. Your enthusiasm for teaching and mastery of the French language will empower students to confidently communicate and explore new linguistic horizons.

Responsibilities:
- Teach French to students in Grades 3–9
- Support students with French vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, listening, and speaking
- Help students improve their school performance and build confidence in French
- Prepare engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and learning materials
- Provide homework support and additional practice when needed
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
- Create a positive, supportive, and encouraging learning environment
Qualifications:
- Strong French language proficiency, including excellent speaking, reading, and writing skills
- Previous experience teaching or tutoring children and youth is preferred
- A degree or background in French, Education, Languages, or a related field is an asset
- Familiarity with the Alberta French curriculum, Core French, or French Immersion programs is an asset
- Patient, reliable, organized, and able to connect well with students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Eligible to work in Canada
