Role Description The French Instructor will deliver engaging and interactive online French lessons to learners at various proficiency levels, following Hansa’s individualized instructional approach. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and teaching remote classes, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and adapting lesson content to meet different learning styles and goals.

The instructor will use digital tools and resources to create a supportive virtual classroom, encourage participation, and foster confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in French. This is a part-time,



remote role that requires consistent availability, professional communication with students and staff, and accurate record-keeping of attendance and performance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in French Teaching and general Teaching to deliver effective language instruction.
- Candidates should possess skills in Tutoring and Education to support individualized learning and academic progress.
- Candidates should possess experience in Teacher Training or professional development related to language pedagogy.
- Near-native or native proficiency in French and high-level English communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Experience teaching French online or in a classroom setting to diverse age groups and cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to design lesson plans, integrate digital learning tools, and assess student achievement against clear objectives.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability in maintaining a consistent schedule, and comfort working independently in a remote environment.
- Relevant post-secondary education in Languages, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred; teaching certifications are an asset.
