Standard Auto Wreckers is a licensed automotive recycler with over 45 years of experience in the automotive recycling industry. We are committed to environmentally responsible recycling practices while providing quality recycled auto parts to customers across Ontario. We are currently looking for a dependable and safety-focused Front-End Loader Operator to join our Port Hope team.

Position Summary The Front-End Loader Operator is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to move vehicles, materials, and scrap throughout the yard while supporting the daily operations of our automotive recycling facility. The successful candidate will be safety-conscious, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced indoor/outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

- Operate a front-end loader in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load, unload, and move vehicles throughout the yard and load the dismantle shop
- Stack and organize inventory to maximize yard efficiency.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with other yard duties as required.

Qualifications

- Previous experience operating a front-end loader.
- Valid driver's licence
- Experience working in a scrapyard, recycling, construction,



or industrial environment is considered an asset.
- Strong awareness of safe operating procedures.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required.
- Dependable with excellent attendance and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule

- Full-time 7am
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional overtime may be required.
