Duties

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently to minimize wait times
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all details are correct
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give accurate change with basic math skills
- Provide friendly guest services by answering questions about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies
- Assist with food handling and food preparation tasks to support kitchen staff when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, service stations, and front-of-house spaces




- Upsell menu items or specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and guest satisfaction

Experience

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience in serving or hospitality roles that involve guest interaction and multitasking
- Basic math proficiency for cashiering, cash handling, and transaction accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
