At Wooden Hearts, we specialize in creating custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, and handcrafted furniture for residential and commercial clients throughout Ontario. Every project is unique, and we take pride in delivering exceptional quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.

We're looking for an experienced, motivated craftsman who enjoys working with their hands, takes ownership of their work, and wants to be part of a growing team that values quality over quantity.

Responsibilities

- Build and assemble custom cabinetry, furniture, and architectural millwork.
- Read and interpret shop drawings and production plans.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood components with precision.
- Install hardware and ensure a high-quality fit and finish.
- Assist with on-site installations when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with the production team to complete projects on schedule while maintaining our quality standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and craftsmanship.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience in custom woodworking, cabinetmaking, or architectural millwork.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, joinery, and cabinet construction.
- Ability to accurately read shop drawings and work independently.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.




- Experience operating woodworking equipment and power tools safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.

Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following is considered an asset:
- Residential custom cabinetry
- Commercial millwork
- Fine furniture construction
- Veneer work
- Laminate fabrication
- Installation of cabinetry and millwork
- Wood finishing and touch-ups

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced woodworking shop.
