The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Genealogist ( hourly contractor )

to join our team.



This position is crucial in helping our clients trace their European ancestry to support citizenship-by-descent applications. You will conduct genealogical research within the United States and Canada and coordinate with our expert network of genealogists across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct in-depth genealogical research using historical records, databases, and archives within the U.S. and Canada.
- Collaborate and coordinate with our genealogical partners in Europe.
- Prepare research summaries and documentation to support European citizenship applications.
- Communicate with clients to clarify goals and share progress updates.
- Maintain high standards of client service and confidentiality.
- Assist with document retrieval, whether located in the U.S. or Canada.

What We're Looking For

- Proven experience in genealogical research (10+ years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of U.S./Canadian vital records, immigration records, census data, and archival sources.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with European genealogy is a solid asset.
- Must be based in Canada .
