General / Skilled Labourer

Pine Valley Corporation is an established municipal civil and landscape construction contractor specializing in parks, playgrounds, sports facilities, trails, streetscapes, site servicing, and other public infrastructure projects throughout Southern Ontario.

We are currently seeking motivated, hardworking General / Skilled Labourers to join our growing construction team. We are looking for individuals who take pride in producing quality work, have a strong work ethic, and are committed to working safely.

Responsibilities

- Perform a variety of general construction labour duties on municipal civil and landscape construction projects.
- Load, unload, and move construction materials and equipment.
- Operate small equipment and power tools safely
- Assist equipment operators, foremen, and supervisors to complete work efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and protected work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies, Ministry of Labour regulations, and site-specific safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support project completion.

Qualifications

- Previous construction experience is preferred.
- Experience in municipal, civil, landscape, or heavy construction is considered a strong asset.




- Experience with concrete, grading, landscaping, site servicing is an asset.
- Ability to safely operate construction hand tools and small equipment.
- Strong understanding of safe work practices.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Pay: Competitive hourly wage based on experience.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime as required
- Weekend work as required
