About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Project Geophysicist to join our technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing geophysical projects from data acquisition through final interpretation and reporting while ensuring exceptional technical quality and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify and maintain quality control of geophysical datasets throughout project execution.
- Monitor ongoing projects and recommend adjustments to acquisition procedures when needed tomaintain data quality and meet project objectives.
- Manage technical aspects of projects, ensuring deliverables meet client objectives and internal standards.
- Communicate with clients regarding survey objectives, project progress, technical considerations, andrecommendations.
- Collect, review, process, model, and interpret geophysical data in accordance with projectdeliverables.
- Integrate geophysical results with geological and other exploration datasets where applicable.
- Prepare technical reports, figures, maps, sections, interpretations, presentations and client-readydeliverables.
- Conduct internal technical reviews with the Technical Director and geophysical team.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of final deliverables before release to clients.
- Present results to clients to support clear understanding of the data, products, and recommendations.
- Contributes to the development of new methodologies, interpretation approaches,
and technical capabilities.
Qualifications
- B.Sc., M.Sc. or Ph. D in Geophysics, Geology, Physics, or a related discipline.
- Experience in mineral exploration geophysics.
- Working knowledge of geophysical methods including IP, EM, Magnetics, Gravity, and/or GPR,televiewer, BH methods, ERT, etc.
- Working knowledge of industry software such as Oasis Montaj, Maxwell, VOXI, Geoscience Analyst,Leapfrog, or equivalent tools.
- Strong data analysis, modelling, interpretation, and technical writing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical results clearly.
- Eligibility for professional registration (PGO, OGQ, PEGNL, APEGA, Engineers and Geoscientists BC, orequivalent).
Assets
- Prior consulting experience and comfort working directly with clients.
- Experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, and technical deliverables simultaneously.
- Experience with 2D/3D modelling, inversion, or integrated interpretation workflows.
- Ability to integrate geophysical results with geology, drilling, geochemistry, and other explorationdatasets.
- Experience preparing technical proposals, work plans, budgets, or scopes of work.
- Experience presenting technical results and recommendations to clients or project stakeholders.
- Bilingual in English and French.
