Guidewire Developer – PolicyCenter, Gosu & Insurance Domain Required Skills & Experience

Guidewire Development

- 8+ years of proven experience in Guidewire application development.
- 7+ years of hands-on Guidewire development experience.
- Strong expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC) configuration.
- Nice to have Guidewire BillingCenter (BC) configuration knowledge.
- Experience with:
- Gosu language
- Guidewire configuration and coding
- Guidewire tools and accelerators
- Guidewire Batch
- Guidewire predefined plugins

Technical Development Skills

- Ability to read code in other programming languages and reverse engineer applications.
- 7+ years of experience developing RESTful APIs.
- Experience designing, developing, and integrating Guidewire solutions.

Agile Development & Tools
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with development and delivery tools, including:
- Git
- Bitbucket
- Jenkins
- Jira
- Confluence

Insurance Domain Knowledge

- Solid domain knowledge in Property & Casualty (P&C;) Insurance.

Certifications & Additional Skills
- Guidewire Cloud Certification (ACE) is required.
- Experience with Guidewire PMT tool.
