MW Enterprises, a trusted family-run business serving Prince Edward County and the Quinte region for over 30 years, is seeking a reliable and skilled Full-Time Hardwood Floor Refinisher. We specialize in high-quality hardwood floor installation, refinishing, sanding, and related finishing work for homes ranging from cottages to high-end properties.

Position Details

- Job Title: Hardwood Floor Refinisher
- Employment Type: Full time
- Location: Picton, Ontario (work primarily in Prince Edward County and surrounding Quinte area)
- Reports to: Company ownership/management

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, sand, stain, and finish hardwood floors to high professional standards
- Perform hardwood floor refinishing, resurfacing, and related carpentry/finishing tasks
- Operate floor sanding and refinishing equipment safely and effectively
- Ensure clean, precise workmanship on residential projects
- Maintain tools, equipment, and worksites in a tidy, professional manner
- Collaborate with the team and communicate effectively with clients when needed
- Follow all safety protocols and company quality standards

Requirements
- Experience in hardwood floor refinishing, sanding, or related flooring/carpentry work preferred (training may be provided for the right candidate)




- Physically fit and able to perform demanding manual labour (standing, kneeling, lifting, working with dust and equipment)
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality craftsmanship
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation (work involves travel to job sites)
- Strong work ethic, honesty, and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Knowledge of proper safety practices and willingness to follow workplace safety standards
